TDS Adjustment & Calibration

Many modern RO purifiers include a TDS controller or mineraliser that blends a small amount of raw water back with purified water to retain essential minerals, since pure RO water with extremely low TDS can taste flat and lacks beneficial minerals. If this controller isn't calibrated correctly, your water might come out with a TDS level that's too high, reducing purification effectiveness, or too low, resulting in flat-tasting demineralised water. Our TDS adjustment and calibration service involves testing both your input water TDS and output water TDS using a digital TDS meter, then adjusting the controller valve or electronic settings to achieve the ideal output range, typically between fifty and one hundred fifty parts per million for good taste and mineral balance. We explain the readings to you in simple terms and provide guidance on what TDS range is considered healthy for your specific water source. This service is especially useful after a filter or membrane change, as replacement parts can sometimes shift the calibration slightly.
