SMPS/Power Supply Repair

The SMPS, or switched-mode power supply, converts your household AC power into the low-voltage DC power that runs your RO purifier's pump, solenoid valve, and control indicators. When the SMPS fails, your purifier may not switch on at all, indicator lights may flicker or stay off, or the unit may work intermittently. Our technicians test the SMPS output voltage using proper diagnostic tools to confirm whether the fault lies in the power unit itself or elsewhere in the electrical circuit, such as the wiring, float switch, or solenoid valve. Where possible, we repair the existing SMPS by replacing faulty internal components like capacitors or fuses, which is often more cost-effective than a full replacement. If the unit is beyond economical repair, we fit a compatible replacement SMPS matched to your purifier's voltage and current requirements. All electrical work is carried out with proper safety precautions, and we test the complete system after the repair to confirm stable power delivery and normal purifier operation before considering the job complete.
